About Me

Green Justine: Berkeley,, CA, United States; I am a California native who wandered East, then Midwest, and eventually resettled here in Berkeley, where I live with my husband and three daughters. My training in gardening and horticulture began with an interest in organic farming in Iowa. From there, I spent a year building school gardens and running a garden and nutrition educational program for Oakland elementary schools. I then trained as a gardener through an internship at the Botanical Gardens at Golden Gate Park. I furthered my education with classes in landscape horticulture at Merritt College. Green Justine's has been operating since 2003.
